THE ROLE

Assisting the Sommelier with managing, ordering and serving wine within a fine dining restaurant environment

Develop outstanding product knowledge and passionately guide guests through the encyclopaedic wine menu of up to 1000 wines

Knowledge of American wine beneficial

An enthusiasm, efficiency and passion for first-rate customer service as you will be presenting, serving and maintaining wine service within a busy restaurant environment

Drive to implement and use up-selling techniques aimed at generating greater beverage sales
THE REQUIREMENTS

Motivated, positive person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Minimum of 1-year experience working in a similar position in an upmarket restaurant environment

Previous experience as wait staff would also be advantageous

A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate

Fluency in English
