Job Description

With views of Sydney’s magnificent harbour, this restaurant is a true reflection of an authentic Italian chef. The menu is generous, yet focused; from its range of antipasti and pasta right through to the wide selection of seafood, cured meats and vegetables cooked over the 100-year-old seasoned Ironbark wood-fired grill.

The primary focus is simple – the most delectable Italian food served in a friendly and proficient manner.

 

THE ROLE

  • Greet guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

  • Oversee daily reservations, table allocations and cashiering duties.

  • Build rapport, being confident and self-assured.

  • Working closely with the restaurant floor staff your smooth teamwork will ensure a dining experience of the highest standard.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Motivated, positive person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Minimum of 1-year experience working as a Restaurant Host in an upmarket restaurant environment

  • MICROS and/or ResPAK systems knowledge

  • Previous experience as Wait Staff would also be advantageous

  • A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate

  • Fluency in English

  • A passion for great food and great service
