Lead by Chase Kojima (Nobu, Sokyo at The Star) and Victor Liong (Lee Ho Fook), this all-new Chinese-Japanese fusion venue in Jones Bay Wharf, Pyrmont is expanding their team. As a beloved harbourside location with unrivalled views, this refreshing and innovative addition to the diverse Sydney food scene is committed to delivering first-class experiences to guests. 

THE ROLE

  • Assisting the Sommelier with managing, ordering and serving wine within a fine dining restaurant environment

  • Develop outstanding product knowledge and passionately guide guests through the wine list

  • WSET Level 1 advantageous

  • An enthusiasm, efficiency and passion for first-rate customer service as you will be presenting, serving and maintaining wine service within a busy restaurant environment

  • Drive to implement and use up-selling techniques aimed at generating greater beverage sales

 

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Motivated, positive person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Minimum of 1-year experience working in a similar position in an upmarket restaurant environment

  • A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate

  • Fluency in English

  • Immaculate grooming and personal presentation

  • A passion for great food and great service
