Job Description

Do you have what it takes to join a market leader in retail? To provide leadership and direction across all aspects of food operations, by engaging and supporting the team, to maximise sales and deliver exceptional hospitality service across cafes, bars, restaurants.

This unique high-profile role will lead their managers and specialised teams to deliver best in class food and beverage experiences. At the foundation of our Food strategy is innovative products and menus, a passion for quality and a total commitment to great customer service, the Store Manager will ensure these values are deeply instilled in their teams.
  
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Have a passion for food, beverage and service
  • Drive service and sales
  • Coaching and mentor team members in specialised food brands, products, menus and hospitality skills
  • Effective oversight of all venue activities ensuring maximum return and positive business outcomes - not limited to: logistics, facilities, stock loss, WHS, sustainability, specialised services and customer services
  • Foster an engaged team culture
  • Review of venue staffing levels by sourcing and recruitment
  • Ensure the venue onboarding process is executed to ensure new team members have been set up for success
  • Maximise the profitability of the venue by increasing sales and minimising loses
  • Lead the management team to ensure the food service departments are in line with presentation and food compliance standards
  • Responsible for the full conduct and control of all aspects of the financial stocktake
  • Proactively manage wastage with direct reports
   
SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Have a strong knowledge of food and liquor licensing legislation
  • Commercially focused and sound business acumen
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Flexible and adaptable in line with business requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritise and maintain a high standard of etiquette
