Do you have what it takes to join a market leader in venues and catering? Our client is in search of a rockstar multi-tasking genius and strong people person to manage and maintain existing accounts whilst selling these highly awarded and well-renowned collection of event venues. This a great opportunity for you to join our growing business events and sales team.

  • This is an action-packed, hands-on role where you will be responsible for organically growing a portfolio of clients whilst acquiring new business
  • Following up on leads, including preparing, presenting and following up on event proposals
  • Managing your portfolio and maintain existing client relationships
  • Undertaking proactive sales
  • Facilitating site inspections with clients, stakeholders and industry partners
  • Meeting revenue targets through securing events business
  • Proven successful record in a similar sales capacity – preferably in MICE/events industry
  • Ability to find, foster and maintain positive client relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills – including business writing and presentation skills
  • Passion for sales and achieving targets and objectives
  • An energetic, fun and enthusiastic personality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and tasks within a busy environment
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations with your own initiative
  • Own vehicle with full driver's license where offsite appointments are required outside City/CBD
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Complaint handling - able to resolve problems as they arise in an appropriate manner
