I have been in hospitality since a very young age. Joining this exciting industry as a teenager, I quickly realised how rewarding it was helping people create unique and memorable experiences.
Working in a variety of hospitality roles throughout my career, including restaurant operations through maître d', group bookings coordinator and finally arriving at BENCHMARQUE as People & Culture Coordinator.
Today I support award winning restaurants and bars around Sydney with the resourcing, engagement and retention of their FOH positions, particularly HR and scheduling. My favourite part of the job is creating strong relationships that empower both the client and our employees, leading our front line ambassadors through a positive employment experience from the first phone call to long after they have been placed in a job.
My biggest reward is being able to establish trusted and long-lasting relationships with candidates and being able to follow them on their journey. I am equally passionate about supporting our clients so they can operate their business in a stress-free and profitable manner and I thoroughly understand the pressure of working in hospitality and how candidates best to balance this with day to day life.
